UMR Right offers the position of a PhD student in the Immuno-Molecular Cancer Therapeutics (TIM-C) team. The team is interested in the immunology of cancer and develops immunotherapy approaches based on T lymphocytes (CAR-T cells, Transgenic TCR, anti-cancer vaccine). The unique and strong interdisciplinary network of basic researchers and clinical scientists will enable excellent training during the doctoral thesis.
TIMC team has a strong relationship with clinicians and is able to translate its research to clinical applications (T or NK cell-based therapies, tumor vaccination).
The candidate will work on a project on tumor immunology and immunotherapy in the group of Dr Romain Loyon, he will integrate the Intherapi Graduate School.
The position is available for a young scientist highly motivated by projects in cancer research and tumor immunology, at the interface between basic and applied research.
The position requires the following skills:
- Master degree or equivalent in immunology, tumor immunology / immunotherapy would be a plus,
- Specific knowledge in tumor biology and experience in methods of cellular and molecular biology (T cell culture, flow cytometry and qPCR will be highly appreciated),
