Support to research

The Cancéropôles have for mission to support emerging research projects or platforms as well as scientists and clinicians to strengthen cancer research in their territory. Therefore, the Cancéropôle Est has launched actions to support the development of emerging research projects as well as the training of individuals: support for structuring projects, support to platforms, support for innovative emerging projects, support to young researchers (training, participation to scientific meeting, cross-border mobility), support for the organization of scientific conferences...

In addition, the Cancéropôle Est has built a directory of actors in oncology located in the East area and their activity. The purpose of this tool is to improve the visibility of the inter-regional potential, to facilitate the search for information, expertise and tools, and thus to foster interactions and the emergence of innovative projects. Information can be found on: clinicians and researchers involved in cancer research in the East area, research and clinical teams, existing technological platforms in the East area that can be mobilized for cancer research, research units and institutions involved in cancer research, research projects carried out by scientists from the Eastern region and supported by the main French funding bodies, scientific publications.
