Résumé

A 63-year old man presented with intra-cerebral hemorrhage (ICH) confirmed by tomodensitometry. The cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) examination showed a xanthochromic liquid with 1.537 x 10 /L nucleated cells (Body Fluid mode, Sysmex XN-9000, Roissy, Fr), increased red blood cells (RBCs), loose clusters of leptomeningeal cells (fig 1) macrophages and abnormal lymphocytes (fig 2). Interestingly, fresh phagocytosis of intact RBCs by macrophages ("erythrophages", fig 3) or leptomeningeal cells (fig 4), and dark coarse granules into macrophages was observed (fig 5).
