Résumé
Over the past twenty years, cancer treatments have evolved significantly. Modern treatment regimens have been enriched by targeted therapies and more recently by anti-cancer immunotherapy used alone or more frequently in combination. Despite these advances, the "old" chemotherapy molecules remain the basis of treatments for most cancers. This article reviews the mode of action of these historic chemotherapy molecules.
