Résumé
The relationship between physical activity and lower limb veins is complex. If a sedentary lifestyle is considered to be negative on lower limb veins, specific information on physical activity volume is very sparse on varicose veins, especially the effect of high physical activity volume. The main objective of the VARISPORT study was to evaluate lower limb veins (clinically, morphologically, and haemodynamically) and chronic venous disease symptoms in subjects exposed to high physical activity volume compared with a group of non-exposed subjects.
