Résumé
The determination of protein structures by NMR: a complicated optimization problem Nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, already a powerful tool for the determination of protein structures, has recently seen significant improvement as a result of a number of key developments. These advancements have touched all steps of the structure determination process ranging from the production of isotopically labeled protein samples to the development of innovative modelling strategies. The panel of NMR experiments used to obtain exploitable information on proteins has enlarged considerably and now offers an unprecedented view on the structure and dynamics of macromolecular assemblies. Integrating heterogeneous data to build a model that accounts for the multiple aspects of proteins in solution remains a challenging and fascinating task.
