BACKGROUND: For resectable gastric cancer, both postoperative chemoradiotherapy and perioperative chemotherapy demonstrate high-level evidence for improved survival in Western populations. To evaluate the feasibility of pre- or postoperative chemoradiotherapy, we proposed two multicentre phase II studies.
