Résumé
Hereditary epidermolysis bullosa simplex generalized severe (EBS-gen-sev) is the most severe form of EBS. No effective therapy exists. The utility of tetracyclines is controversy . Furthermore, the disease is more severe in childhood, when tetracyclines are contraindicated. Macrolides are used in various inflammatory skin diseases and are allowed for children. In this open label uncontrolled preliminary study, we evaluated if a treatment with oral erythromycin in EBS-gen-sev children could be efficient and well tolerated.
