Résumé

C-3 symmetry and catalysis: use of trisoxazolines ligands in enantioselective reactions Although C2-symmetric ligands have been intensively studied in catalysis, the development of systems with higher rotational symmetry remains rare. Nevertheless, C3 symmetry offers great potential in asymmetric catalysis. A new class of chiral trisoxazoline tripod ligands has recently been reported and their properties studied in coordination chemistry. In some cases, the use of such ligands in asymmetric catalysis affords better results than the corresponding bidentate systems. Key points are briefly presented in this paper.
